The review and consultation were broken into a number of phases: · Internal review – feedback from consistency events, moderation, staff feedback, and anecdotal feedback; · Key stakeholder engagement – via email and/or face-to-face engagement; · Open public consultation – via the Skills Active website and newsletter lists; · Stakeholder endorsement of review outcomes – via email; · Internal approval for submission by Senior Management Team (SMT). Consultation feedback showed an ongoing need for the qualifications with little change as they continued to meet industry needs and expectations. |

Main changes resulting from the review |
|
For both qualifications: The language of some Graduate Profile Outcomes (GPOs) were amended to strengthen without changing the intent or outcome. The qualification award and consistency statements were updated. Mandatory requirements for programmes have been removed. The general conditions and other requirements sections were updated to reflect relevant legislation. A Programme guidance document will be available on Skills Active website. |
