|
Feedback from stakeholders indicated that the outcomes of the qualifications were fit for their purpose. They were edited for clarity, without changing the meaning or intent. Feedback indicated the contexts in the New Zealand Certificate in Tourism (Level 4) were problematic, creating uncertainty about what they meant in practical terms for the arrangement of programmes, and also for the achievement of trainees. These were removed. Stakeholders determined that the Maori concepts of Manaakitanga and Whānaunatanga should be inserted under the general conditions for all programmes leading to the qualifications. The qualifications were endorsed with full support from stakeholders. |
