Summary
Unit standards were reviewed with full industry consultation as part of the Competenz scheduled five yearly review.
Main changes
· Minor changes were made to update terms and definitions and to align unit standards with current industry practices and terminology.
· Safety and risk management content was updated to reflect current industry practices.
· Unit standard 6917 had an outcome added to cover knowledge of the rules of chainsaw use.
· The title of unit standard 28562 was changed to more accurately reflect its content.
