Summary of review and consultation process |
|
The review of the qualifications above was held during 2019 and consisted of a preparatory stage when information was gathered, followed by a number of consultation events, including an online questionnaire, email engagement and a formal consultation period on the MITO website. The feedback and recommendations from the various consultation events were analysed and incorporated into the qualifications where appropriate. Reviewed qualification documents were circulated to the stakeholder group for final comment and attestation. |

New Zealand Certificate in Industrial Textile Fabrication (Level 3) [Ref: 2543-2] • Evidence requirements for assuring consistency, other requirements for the qualification and general conditions for programmes amended to align with industry requirements. · Graduate profile outcomes revised to clarify the intent and context in which these must be demonstrated. New Zealand Certificate in Industrial Textile Fabrication (Level 4) [Ref: 2544-2] • Graduate profile outcome statements revised to clarify the requirements of Level 4 Graduate in an industrial textile fabrication environment. · Credits reduced from 120 to 80 to better reflect the time it takes to obtain the required skills and knowledge to meet the graduate profile outcomes. • Evidence requirements for assuring consistency, other requirements for the qualification and general conditions for programmes were amended to align with industry requirements. |
