Summary of review and consultation process |
The review and consultation process began in March 2019. The review group comprised of members from the original qualification development process and members included for their expertise in a specific field of RAC. The initial meeting was part of the Sector Advisory Group (SAG) meeting for RAC. Considering the degree of collaboration and programme monitoring since qualification registration, the remainder of communication was via email, with the exception of working through the Split Systems qualification. Due to changes within the RAC sector, the New Zealand Certificate in Split System Heat Pump Installation has been identified as requiring a significant amount of change. For the purposes of this review the group has requested that we develop a new qualification and this work will follow at a later date. |
