The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation has republished the qualifications listed above.

Summary

 

These qualifications were republished to include replacement relationships with New Zealand Certificates.

The last date for entry is 31 December 2020 and the last date for assessment is 31 December 2021.

 

Main changes resulting from the review

 

·     National Certificate in Flooring Installation (Level 4) with strands in Carpet Installation, Fine Sand and Finishes, Flooring Planning and Design, Resilient Flooring Installation, Substrate Preparation, Timber Overlay Installation, and Resin Flooring Application [Ref: 0756]

Replaced with:

·     New Zealand Certificate in Flooring Installation (Level 4) with strands in Bonded Carpet, Commercial Carpet, Commercial Resilient Flooring, and Residential Resilient Flooring [Ref: 4296]

·     New Zealand Certificate in Timber and Composite Flooring (Level 4) with strands in Bonded Installation, and Fine Floor Sand and Finishes [Ref: 4300]

·     New Zealand Certificate in Resin Flooring Application (Level 4) with strands in Trowel Applied Resin Mortar, and Flow Applied Resin Finishes [Ref: 4298]

·     New Zealand Certificate in Floor Planning and Design (Level 4) with optional strands in Site Assessment, and Flooring Estimation [Ref: 4297]

Category A

The qualification is published as a new version with the same NQF ID

Category B
