Summary of review and consultation process |
The Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand (PSNZ) has consulted with the training providers and major stakeholders in a review of these qualifications. Feedback from the sector has indicated that only minor changes across the Level 3-5 qualifications are required to retain currency and fitness for purpose. The sector has endorsed a change in the qualification type for the level 6 qualification and again some minor changes to other details. The review has resulted in the listing of new versions of each qualification. |
Main changes resulting from the review |
Changes made across all qualifications: · Conversion to current qualification template · Removal and/or updating of text in: o Qualification Award section o Evidence requirements for assuring consistency o Credit transfer and recognition of prior learning section o Minimum standard of achievement section o Pre-requisites section o General conditions section. · Moving of the text from Conditions column of “Conditions relating to specific outcomes” section to separate documents entitled Guidance for Qualification Developers and inserted a URL link in the General condition section for developers to access these.
