Republication of Motor Industry qualification

National Certificate in Motor Industry (Coachbuilding) with strands in Passenger Service Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, and Motor Homes and Caravans [Ref: 0413]

MITO New Zealand Incorporated has republished the qualification listed above.

Reason for the republication

The last date of assessment of the National qualification has been extended with the support of industry stakeholders, to allow the completion of the qualification for learners impacted by the Covid19 lockdown period.

MITO are now actively encouraging learners that require units to be completed for the achievement of the National Certificate to present themselves for assessment as soon as possible.

Associated unit standards that are expiring have also had their last dates of assessment extended.

The last date of assessment was extended from 31 December 2020 to 31 December 2021.

Transition

It is anticipated that no existing candidates will be disadvantaged.  However, anyone who feels that they have been disadvantaged may appeal to MITO New Zealand Incorporated at the address below.  Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
