Summary

Competenz has reviewed these units as part of the scheduled 5-yearly review.

This review was conducted in consultation with Sector Advisory Groups and Technical Advisory Groups, consisting of industry experts, stakeholders and those holding the consent to assess that have been using the standards.

Amendments and updates to these units were discussed at meetings that were held in the first quarter of 2020.  Results of these meetings were communicated via email to review participants, offering a further opportunity to provide feedback.

Main changes

·         All unit standards were reclassified.

·         Guidance Information, Outcomes and Performance Criteria were updated to reflect current practices.

·         Some minor changes to wording were made in some unit standards to improve accuracy and clarity.

·         Minor changes to the titles of units 2199, 2250, 18895, 25534 and 25548 were made to align with the updated wording in the outcomes and performance criteria.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of some Category B unit standards is December 2023
