Summary

The unit standards listed above were inadvertently expired following a review of Animal Product Examination unit standards in 2016.  The Animal Products Act 1999 requires Nominated Persons in poultry processing plants to complete these unit standards.  These unit standards have been reinstated to meet this legislative requirement.

Main changes

·      Unit standards were reinstated from expired.

·      A new outcome was added to the reinstated version of unit 22047 to include identification of poultry disease.

·      The title for the reinstated version of unit 22050 was amended to better reflect the content.

·      Minor changes were made to content of reinstated versions to meet NZQA current technical requirements.
