Summary
Competenz has reviewed these units as part of a full review of forestry unit standards. All stakeholders were involved with this review, including Sector Advisory Groups and Competenz Training Advisors. The review was conducted using face-to-face meetings with a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) consisting of industry experts, stakeholders and those holding consent to assess.
Main changes
· Legislation and references were updated in Guidance Information for all unit standards.
· Minor changes to wording were made in some unit standards to improve accuracy and clarity.
· Unit standards 22998, 22999, 23000 and 23001 had their titles changed to more accurately align with their content.
· Unit standard 24576 had its title amended to align the term ‘forestry’ with other unit standards.
· The last date for assessment of earlier versions of some of these unit standards was set to 31 December 2020.
