Summary
In March 2020, these unit standards were designated expiring without replacement as a result of low usage. However, industry has subsequently confirmed ongoing need for the standards which are included in a programme of industry training leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Mining and Quarrying (First-line Supervision) (Level 4) with strands in Surface, and Underground [Ref: 2783].
The content of the standards has been confirmed as fit for purpose and a planned review date of 2022 has been specified.
