Summary

 

This review was conducted in consultation with Sector Advisory Groups and Technical Advisory Groups, consisting of industry experts, stakeholders and those holding consent to assess.  Any amendments and updates to these units were discussed at meetings that were held in the first quarter of 2020, results of these meetings were communicated via email to review participants, offering a further opportunity to provide feedback.

 

Main changes

 

·      Guidance Information, Outcomes and Performance criteria were updated to reflect current practices.

·      Minor changes to wording were made in some unit standards to improve accuracy and clarity.

·      Last date of Assessment added to superseded versions of the unit standards.

·         Unit 2215 was designated expiring as French Polishing is an outdated technique that has been replaced with more modern methods.

·      The credit value of unit standard 25520 was increased to 7 credits, to better reflect the time required to achieve this unit.

 

The Category D unit standard will expire at the end of December 2023
