Summary of review and consultation process

Consultation with stakeholders occurred via email and an online questionnaire during February – May 2020.

A group of infrastructure representatives met with Connexis during June – July and confirmed the need for a Level 6 qualification in asset management. This discussion, and the results of the consultation, informed the qualification review.

Main changes resulting from the review

The qualification was updated to the current template, and Award of Qualification and Evidence of Consistency were amended to reflect current NZQA requirements.

Graduate Profile Outcome two was amended to reflect the current industry situation where companies have existing asset management plans.

An additional reference document was added to the general conditions for programmes.
