Summary of review and consultation process |
|
An expression of interest was sent to companies who operate in this industry. The consultation was carried out and identified that the qualifications are not fit for purpose and do not meet the needs of the sector. This has also been evident for the last number of years through conversations with the industry who are using the New Zealand manufacturing qualifications instead and find that these qualifications are more suitable for the industry. These qualifications have no programme approvals against the qualifications, there have been no graduates since the qualifications were listed in 2015.
