Summary of review and consultation process

The review of the two qualifications listed above was held during 2020, consisting of preparatory stage when information was gathered, followed by consultation events, an online questionnaire, email engagement and a formal consultation period on the MITO website.

The feedback and recommendations from the various consultation events were analysed and incorporated into the qualifications where appropriate. Reviewed qualification documents were circulated to the stakeholder group for final comment and attestation.

• Strategic purpose statement and qualification award were amended to ensure clarity.

• Evidence requirements for assuring consistency and general conditions for programmes were amended to align with industry requirements.

• Strategic purpose statement and qualification award were amended to ensure clarity.
