Summary of review and consultation process

This review was undertaken by NZQA National Qualifications Services at the request of The Skills Organisation, the standard setting body for Real Estate.

The Skills Organisation has reviewed the real estate qualifications on behalf of the real estate sector and requested the Real Estate strand be removed from this qualification.  There have been no programmes registered against this strand, it was not deemed fit for purpose. 

The New Zealand Certificate in Real Estate (Level 6) [Ref: 4396] has been listed to replace the removed strand.

· The Real Estate strand was removed from the diploma.

· Version 4 of this qualification will not be superseded.

· Version 4 and version 5 will be current.
