Summary
In July 2019, these unit standards were designated expiring without replacement as a result of low usage. However, industry has subsequently confirmed ongoing need for the standards which are included in a programme of industry training leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Commercial Road Transport (Operations Management) [Ref: 3092] and the New Zealand Certificate in Commercial Road Transport (Senior Driver) (Level 5) [Ref: 3093].
The content of the standards has been confirmed as fit for purpose and a planned review date of 2023 has been specified.
Main changes
· Unit standards 18959, 18960, 21873 and 23823 were reinstated.
· Minor amendments were made to some outcomes, performance criteria, and guidance information across the standards.
· Title of unit standard 21873 was amended in the reinstated version to reflect the practical nature of Outcome 2.
· Standards were moved from Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) 0092 to CMR 0014.
