Summary

Skills and the Industrial Rope Access sector stakeholders held meetings in February and March 2020 to discuss the graduate outcomes and conditions that had to be met for the New Zealand Certificate in Industrial Rope Access (Level 3) [Ref: 2358] qualification.  The existing unit standards were reviewed alongside the qualification conditions and the industry approved best practice guidelines for the sector.

Main changes

· Guidance Information section was updated to reflect the current Best Practice Guidelines for Industrial Rope Access, legislation and industry standards.  The Training and assessment guidance note was also updated to reflect current industry practice.

· Titles of unit standards 19358, 19359, and 19362 were amended to better align with the outcomes of the standards.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2022
