Review of Connexis Infrastructure ITO CMR

 

Connexis has completed the review of the Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) above.

 

Date new version published                                                             August 2021

 

The next CMR review is planned to take place during 2026.

 

Summary of review

 

CMR 0234 was due for review in 2016.  Stakeholders were asked for feedback on the current version of the CMR.  Minor changes were recommended, as described below.

 

Compliance with new requirements

 

Requirements for consent to assess will apply with effect from August 2021.

 

Moderation system requirements will apply with effect from August 2021.

 

Organisations with consent to assess will be expected to be able to demonstrate compliance with the CMR from February 2022 onwards.

Organisation names were updated: InfraTrain New Zealand to Connexis Infrastructure ITO, and IPENZ to Engineering New Zealand.

 

Requirements for Consent to Assess (RCA)

 

Industry or sector-specific requirements for consent to assess

·         Criterion 7 the length of time for organisations to hold assessment material was reduced from two years to one year to align with NZQA practice.

 

Moderation Requirements (MR)

 

Moderation System

·         Publication dates for peer moderation meeting were removed to provide more reasonable expectations for communication during the early part of the year.

·         The sentence which implied attendance at peer moderation was optional was removed, because all organisations are required to attend.

 

Funding

·         Specific costs were deleted.
