Summary

The purpose of this review was to align fourteen unit standards with version 2 of the New Zealand Certificate in Rural Contracting (Level 3), with strands in Crop Production, Harvesting, and Mechanical Vegetation Control [Ref: 2728-2] and to review twelve unit standards overdue for review.  The industry reference group identified changes were required to update industry requirements.

The unit standard review process involved consultation with Rural Contractors New Zealand, the industry reference group, and technical advisers from August 2020 to May 2021.  Industry feedback was received by email, from Rural Contractors New Zealand and the industry reference group.
