Planned review date December 2025
Summary
Connexis identified a new unit standard required for the programme leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Drinking-water Supply (Assessment) (Level 5) [Ref: 4223], and a group of unit standards that are no longer required in the programme.
Consultation occurred with stakeholders, including those with consent to assess, between July and September 2020. The Water Industry Reference Group endorsed proposed changes.
Main changes
· A new unit standard was developed to address needs in risk management.
· Eight unit standards were designated expiring without replacement because they are no longer required by industry.
· A range statement in unit standard 24907 was amended to reflect changes in the Water Industry and the guidance information was updated.
· At the request of industry, the outcome on quality auditing was removed from unit standard 30001 and the credit value was decreased accordingly. The title was amended to reflect all performance criteria and the guidance information was updated.
