The Primary ITO has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
The review commenced in September 2020 to incorporate any changes required to meet current industry requirements.
This set of Level 5 unit standards was reviewed by the Working Group during September and October along with the Level 3 and Level 4 unit standards.
Level 5 unit standards were then prioritised for finalising and submission to NZQA as they are needed for use in a Level 5 programme leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture Services (Level 5) Sports Turf strand [Ref: 2675]. This programme is in the final stages of development. There has been no usage of these unit standards up to now as there was no approved programme.
The Level 5 units were sent out to key industry stakeholders and consent to assess holders by email in November 2020.
Feedback was discussed with key industry stakeholders and changes were incorporated where appropriate. The updated unit standards were finalised in late November 2020.
Main changes
· A new unit standard on nutrient management was developed as the skills and knowledge were not covered in existing unit standards.
· Credits for unit standard 30593 were reduced to better reflect the time taken to learn and be assessed against the skills and knowledge in the unit standard, and the title was amended to match the content.
· Minor title change for standard 30588 to remove a comma.
