Summary

 

The unit standards listed above were reviewed in consultation with key stakeholders, with subsequent input and feedback invited from all providers with consent to assess.

 

Unit standards 5013, 22841, 27886 and 19409 were used as part of expiring national certificate and diploma programmes.  Providers that assessed against the standards during 2016-2020 indicated they would not use the standards in other programmes.  Therefore, Careerforce has designated the standards expiring.

 

Main changes

 

·                                                          Unit standards 5013, 22841, 27886 and 19409 were designated expiring.

·                                                          Guidance Information in 29523 was updated.  This included updates to New Zealand standards, definitions, assessment notes, and references.

·                                                          The language and formatting of outcomes and performance criteria in 29523 have been amended to better reflect the requirements of the standard.

·                                                          Standard 29523 includes an additional outcome (outcome 4).

·                                                          Standard 32516 is a new standard developed as a result of the review process.

 

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2023

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2023
