Summary

 

The unit standards listed above were reviewed in consultation with Careerforce’s Disability Advisory Group, with subsequent input and feedback invited from all providers who have consent to assess.

 

Main changes

 

·                                                          The titles of four standards were updated to reflect the industry’s preferred terminology.

·                                                          Guidance information for New Zealand standards, definitions, assessment notes and references were updated.

·                                                          The language and formatting of outcomes and performance criteria in all standards were amended to better reflect the requirements of the standards.

·                                                          Unit standard 24661 was reclassified in the Health and Disability Principles in Practice domain from the expiring Disability Support Assessment, Planning, and Coordination domain.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2023
