Summary of review and consultation process |
|
During 2021 Skills Active Aotearoa worked with key industry stakeholders and current users to review the qualifications listed above as part of a scheduled review, to ensure they were still fit for purpose and continue to meet industry needs. Input and feedback from key stakeholders was invited and incorporated into the review. The review and consultation activities were broken into a number of phases: · Internal review – feedback from consistency events, moderation activities, staff feedback, and anecdotal feedback; · Key stakeholder engagement – via email and/or face-to-face engagement; · Open public consultation – via the Skills Active website and newsletter lists; · Stakeholder endorsement of review outcomes – via email; · Internal approval for submission by Skills Active Senior Management Team (SMT). Feedback showed the qualifications continue to meet industry needs and expectations with minor updates required for clarity and to reflect current legislation and standards, and the current qualification document formatting. |
