Date new versions published September 2021
Summary
This is the third of three parts of unit standards reviewed in the Fire and Rescue Services subfield.
Between June 2020 and April 2021, The Skills Organisation together with Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) convened a series of working groups consisting of subject matter experts and organisations with consent to assess to review the unit standards that underpin the training provided to fire and emergency agency personnel. Those working groups examined all relevant unit standards. One result of that review was that the unit standards referenced in this change report, as Part 3 are no longer relevant and set to expire.
Main changes
· Unit standards have been set to expire due to no usage.
· Unit standards were moved to the current template.
· Standard setting body was amended from Fire and Rescue Services ITO to The Skills Organisation.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2025
