Summary
These
unit standards were reviewed between March and June 2021 as part of the
qualification and programme review for manufacturing qualifications.
The review of Fabric
Finishing, Non-Woven Textile Processing, and Weaving unit standards was
completed in consultation with stakeholders, particularly past users of these
unit standards in industry and those holding consent to assess. All Fabric Finishing,
Non-Woven Textile Processing, and Weaving unit standards are being expired, due
to not being used for five years, and no future use by industry being
identified.
Main changes
· All standards listed above were set to expire without replacement as they are no longer required and have not been used for 5 years.
· SSB changed from Apparel and Textile Industry Training Organisation to Competenz.
· Unit standards were moved to the current template.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2022
