Connexis Infrastructure ITO (Connexis) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
Connexis conducted a review of unit standards in the Infrastructure Works subfield to align with changes required by a review of three infrastructure qualifications. Unit standards were reviewed throughout 2021.
Consultation on the reviewed unit standards was conducted with industry technical advisers and organisations with consent to assess. The Industry Reference Group endorsed the proposed changes.
Main changes
· Titles, purpose statements, outcomes, performance criteria and range statements were updated to reflect the current needs of the infrastructure industry.
· Guidance information was updated to include current legislation requirements and industry definitions.
· The credit totals for unit standards 8560, 26169, 22279 and 22280 were increased in line with current industry requirements.
· Unit standard 16158 was reclassified from Engineering and Technology > Civil Plant Operation and Management > Civil Plant Operation to Engineering and Technology > Infrastructure Works > Civil Plant Operation to align with current industry terminology.
· Unit standards were moved to the current template.
