Hanga-Aro-Rau has completed the rollover of the unit standards listed above.
Date new versions published December 2021
Summary
The above unit standards are included in programmes leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Trade) (Level 4) [Ref: 2366], the National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering with strands in Fitting and Machining, General Engineering, Machining, Maintenance Engineering, Toolmaking, and Electricity Supply [Ref: 1262], and the National Certificate in Locksmithing [Ref: 0452].
Learners enrolled in these programmes have been impacted by the Covid-19 lockdown situation, particularly in Auckland. This has resulted in the inability to contact learners and coupled with the cancellation or postponement of block courses until 2022, has meant a total of 972 compulsory assessments across eight unit standards are currently required to be assessed before their expiry date of 31 December 2021. This extension will enable the learners to achieve these unit standards and complete their programmes as planned.
Main changes
The last date for assessment of the unit standards was extended from 31 December 2021 to 31 December 2022.
