Planned review date December 2025
Summary
Key industry stakeholders involved with the arboriculture industry and consent to assess holders who collectively made up the External Working Group (EWG) met by skype in August and September 2020. Unit standards were discussed, and changes recommended to ensure current industry requirements were met.
Unit standards were sent out for stakeholder consultation to consent to assess holders and the wider industry in late October by online survey. There was no further feedback and the EWG was notified of their pending submission for re registration.
Main changes
· Titles were amended for several unit standards to better reflect content.
· Credits increased for several unit standards to reflect the actual learning and assessment time required to achieve competency.
· References were updated in the Guidance Information section.
· One new unit standard was developed to cover tree botany theory.
