Summary
In line with their planned review cycle, these unit standards were reviewed to ensure they remain fit for purpose, relevant, and that their outcomes are achievable and consistent with assessment practices.
Main changes
· Credit value for unit standard 21232 was increased from 2 to 4 credits to reflect changes made to the range statements, which increased the amount of evidence required.
· The title and purpose statement of unit standard 21232 was amended in line with changes made to Outcome 1 and its performance criteria.
· Prerequisite for unit standard 30540 was moved to the guidance information as recommended skills and knowledge.
· Guidance information for the Whāngai Manuhiri standards was added to include reference to ākonga maintaining a visual record of their work for assessment and moderation purposes.
· Guidance information was amended to update resource support and their links, definitions, and to provide clarity.
· Some range statements were amended to provide clarity as to the types and amount of evidence required, or removed where deemed unnecessary.
