Summary
Key industry stakeholders involved within the aquaculture industry who made up the External Working Group (EWG) met between November 2020 and June 2021. The above unit standards were discussed, and changes were recommended to ensure that current industry requirements were met. Consultation was carried out in June 2021 with consent to assess holders to provide feedback. All feedback was actioned where relevant.
· 26 unit standards were reviewed, changes were made to meet specific industry requirements.
· 22 unit standards had title changes to better reflect unit outcomes.
· Seven unit standards had credit value changes to reflect adjustments in industry training needs.
· Guidance information was updated where appropriate to ensure unit standard content was fit for purpose.
· Unit standard outcomes and performance criteria were updated where appropriate to better reflect current industry requirements.
· Reviewed unit standards were moved to the current template.
