Summary of review and consultation process |
|
The Department of Corrections, Ara Poutama Aotearoa, approached Toitū te Waiora to request that the scheduled review date of the Offender Management qualifications be extended from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2024, and that the last date for assessment of version 1 be extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024. This was to mitigate the impact of COVID 19 on training and assessment. The proposal to extend the review date was supported by The Skills Organisation, developers of the programmes used by the Department of Corrections, that lead to the award of the qualifications. |

The scheduled review date for both qualifications was extended from 31 December 2023 to 31 December 2024. The last date for assessment of version 1 of both qualifications was extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024. The qualifications will be republished with no version change. |
