Summary of republication and consultation process |
|
The last date of assessment leading to version 1 of these qualifications has been extended. There were substantial changes made to unit standards during the latest review which has required subsequent programmes to make significant changes. The updated programmes will not be available until November 2022 therefore affecting any learners who enrol between now and November 2022. The extension is to accommodate the learners who will be unable to complete learning and assessment before the previous last date of assessment for version 1. |

The last dates of assessment for version 1 of the qualifications above have been extended from 31 July 2023 to 31 December 2023. The Qualification Developer was updated from Competenz to Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council. |

Version 2 of the qualifications were published in November 2020 following a scheduled review and republished in August 2022 to extend the last date for assessment of version 1. People enrolled in version 1 will need to complete by the 31 December 2023 or transfer to the replacement New Zealand qualification version.
It is anticipated that no existing candidates will be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements. However, anyone who feels that they have been disadvantaged may appeal to Hanga-Aro-Rau at the address below. Appeals will be considered on a case by case basis.
