Summary of review and consultation process |
|
As a result of a discussion with Real Estate Authority and Skills Consulting Group, a barrier was identified, in enrolling new learners onto these qualifications. The current prerequisites in the general conditions for programmes were extended to include individuals that hold a current New Zealand Real Estate Licence (Licensees). This amendment will address an unintended consequence that prevents current licensees who do not hold a New Zealand qualification that meets the current prerequisite conditions, from continuing their learning at the relevant step in the qualification pathway. |

The pre-requisite statement has been expanded to include holders of a current or suspended (within the last three years) Branch Manager Licence. The qualifications will be republished with no version change and the update will take effect immediately. |
