Summary of review and consultation process |
The last date of assessment leading to version 1 of this qualification has been extended. This is to accommodate learners who will be unable to complete learning and assessment before the previous last date of assessment for version 1 due to the delay on new and updated unit standards. The new and updated unit standards are still undergoing industry consultation and development with Waihanga Ara Rau Workforce Development Council and without the updated unit standards, providers have been unable to complete programme development. Additionally, changes within provider organisations due to the Reform of Vocational Education (RoVE) have impacted on internal resourcing to enable completion of programmes, programme approval request to NZQA, and learning resources to support the replacement qualifications. |
Main changes resulting from the review |
The last date of assessment for version 1 of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023. The Qualification Developer was updated from Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) to Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council.
