Summary

Muka Tangata Workforce Development Council reviewed Landscape unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the associated updated qualification graduate outcomes.

Level 2 and 3 Landscape unit standards were reviewed according to their planned review date. Further amendments to unit standards were suggested by industry to ensure they are fit for purpose.

Key industry stakeholders involved with the landscape industry and consent to assess holders collectively made up the External Working Group (EWG) which met by Teams in May and June of 2021.  Unit standards were discussed, and changes recommended to ensure current industry requirements were met.

Unit standards were sent out for wider stakeholder consultation in October 2021 by online survey.  Feedback was collated, and changes incorporated where valid.
