Summary of republication process |
|
The extension of the last date for assessment (LDA) of the superseded version of the above qualifications has been undertaken following requests and discussions with providers. This one-year extension is to enable cohorts of recently enrolled learners/ākonga to complete the prior version of the qualifications. There were some quite significant changes between versions of these qualifications. There were also some significant changes to credit values and new standards created to align with the reviewed versions of the qualifications. This extension also enables providers to avoid duplication of effort for programme and resource redevelopment, and alignment with the 31 December 2023 last date for assessment of the prior version of the associated business unit standards. Version 2 of the Certificate qualifications were published in July 2020, and republished in July 2022 to extend the late date for assessment of version 1. Version 3 of the Level 5 and Version 5 of the Level 6 Diploma qualifications was published in August 2020, and republished in July 2022 to extend the late date for assessment of the superseded version. It is the intention of Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council that no existing learner should be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements.
