Summary of review and consultation process |
|
The extension of the last date for assessment (LDA) of version 1 of the above qualifications has been undertaken following discussions with providers. This one-year extension is to avoid duplication of effort for programme and resource redevelopment linked to the current reviews of the tourism unit standards, and to align with the 31 December 2023 LDA of the prior version of the New Zealand Certificate in Travel (Level 4) [Ref: 2204]. For information on the previous qualification reviews, see the February 2020 change report for the review of Tourism qualifications. There were relatively minor changes between versions of these qualifications. The scheduled qualification review date remains unchanged. |

Version 2 of these qualifications were published in February 2020, and republished in June 2022 to extend the late date for assessment of version 1. It is the intention of Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council that no existing learner should be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements.
