Date new versions published                                                               June 2022

Planned review date                                                                              December 2027

Summary

Muka Tangata reviewed 14 Production Horticulture unit standards which were overdue for review, and training providers indicated they wanted them retained on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.  Muka Tangata also expired two unit standards due to low usage.

Consultation was carried out in May 2022 where consent to assess holders and stakeholders had the opportunity to give comment on the email sent asking for feedback to amendments.  This feedback was addressed where appropriate.

Main changes

·           Titles were amended for some reviewed unit standards to better align with the content.

·           Guidance information was amended for unit standards to reflect changes to format requirements.

·           Some performance criteria and range statements were amended to ensure unit standards remained fit for purpose.

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2023

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2023

Impact on Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR)
