Summary
The above unit standard review process was originally initiated by MITO New Zealand Incorporated in 2020. The review ensured the unit standards are fit-for-purpose for the automotive sectors.
MITO conducted industry consultation in November/December 2020. Consultation feedback was actioned where appropriate.
Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has now completed the review in 2021.
Main changes
· Guidance information, performance criteria and range statements have been updated to reflect correct industry terminology, legislation and to correct errors in the unit standards.
· Titles of standards 229, 3856, 5742, 21080, 21671, 21673, 21684, 21700, 21718, 23992, 24125, and 24393 were changed to align to unit standard outcomes.
