Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Date new versions published                                                                                                      March 2022

Planned review date                                                                                               December 2026

Summary

The above unit standard review process was originally initiated by MITO New Zealand Incorporated in 2020. The review ensured the unit standards are fit-for-purpose for the automotive sectors.

MITO conducted industry consultation in November/December 2020. Consultation feedback was actioned where appropriate.

Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council has now completed the review in 2021.

Main changes

·     Guidance information, performance criteria and range statements have been updated to reflect correct industry terminology, legislation and to correct errors in the unit standards.

·     Titles of standards 229, 3856, 5742, 21080, 21671, 21673, 21684, 21700, 21718, 23992, 24125, and 24393 were changed to align to unit standard outcomes.

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2023
