Muka Tangata – People, Food and Fibre Workforce Development Council has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
Unit standards 1623 and 1270 were reviewed in 2020, however errors were noted on publication and were revised to ensure that the units are fit for purpose.
Consultation was carried out in March 2022 where consent to assess holders and stakeholders had the opportunity to provide feedback for these amendments. Feedback was addressed where appropriate.
Main changes
· Unit standard 1623 reference to pulling while grooming in PC2.1-2.3 was replaced with the term ‘trim’ due to animal welfare concerns.
· Unit standard 1270 prerequisite unit standard 28560 was replaced with unit standard 28561.
