Summary of review and consultation process |
|
This qualification was reviewed as part of the 5-year review cycle. The review was conducted from August to September 2022. Stakeholder consultation included an invitation to industry and related stakeholders to participate in the review of the qualification, a face-to-face meeting, an email follow-up, and continued email correspondence throughout the consultation period. An industry meeting was held on 12 August 2022. Participants included industry representatives from Air New Zealand Ramp, Air New Zealand Air Cargo, New Zealand Defence Force, JNP Aviation, and ServiceIQ/Te Pūkenga WDC. Feedback was collated to inform the review of the qualification. The outcome of the meeting included a confirmation that the qualification remains relevant and fit for purpose. Minor word changes were recommended to increase clarity. All recommendations were actioned by Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council. The consultation process concluded with email consultation to confirm changes to the final qualification document. The consultation outcome was published on the Ringa Hora website, LinkedIn, and Ed Insider. |

The following changes were actioned: · Qualification Developer details have been updated to Ringa Hora Services Workforce Development Council. · Minor wording changes were made to the graduate profile outcomes to increase clarity of intent, and to align to current industry terminology. · The Employment Pathway was amended to broaden its scope to include other employment opportunities within the industry. · The General Conditions were updated to include relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and the conditions of the graduate profile outcomes. · Transition Information was updated. |
