Muka Tangata - People, Food and Fibre Workforce Development Council has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
Muka Tangata reviewed 12 Agriculture, Horticulture and Primary Sector unit standards which were overdue for review, and one Forestry unit standard which industry indicated that needed to be reviewed. Muka Tangata expired two unit standards due to low usage and informed consent to assess holders.
Consultation was carried out in October 2022 where consent to assess holders and stakeholders had the opportunity to give comment on the email sent asking for feedback to amendments. This feedback was addressed where appropriate.
Main changes
· Titles of nine unit standards were amended to better align with the content.
· Performance criteria were updated to ensure these unit standards remained fit for purpose.
· Guidance information section was updated for currency and to better reflect industry requirements.
· The level and credit value of unit standard 1224 was increased from level 3 to 4, and credits from 5 to 10 credits to meet the Level 4 graduate profile outcome requirements for Plan and manage quality control in a forestry silviculture operation using prescription maps.
· Unit standards 21044 and 21046 were expired and will not be replaced due to low usage.
Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2023
The last date for assessment of superseded versions of Category B unit standards is December 2024
