Summary of review and consultation process |
Due to disruption caused by Covid-19 to programmes leading to version 2 of this qualification, there are learners who will not be able to complete version 1 by the existing last date of assessment. Due to significant differences between qualification versions, training providers have indicated that learners will be unable to transition to the new version. The last date of assessment leading to version 1 of this qualification has been extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023 Please note that the suite of Print qualifications, including this qualification are currently under review by Hanga-Aro-Rau. |

The Qualification Developer has been updated from Competenz Industry Training Organisation to Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council. |

Version 2 of the qualification was republished in October 2022 to extend the last date of assessment for version 1.
People enrolled in version 1 will need to complete by 31 December 2023.
It is anticipated that no existing candidates will be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements. However, anyone who feels that they have been disadvantaged may appeal to Hanga-Aro-Rau Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics Workforce Development Council at the address below. Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
