Waihanga Ara Rau Workforce Development Council (WDC) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Date new versions published                                                               October 2022

Summary

The review was undertaken because there was only one active provider and they had just two students in the last six years.  These unit standards were due for review in 2012.

Waihanga Ara Rau WDC consulted with the provider The Skills Organisation, and the peak body ‘Lifting Equipment Engineers Association’ (LEEA).  LEEA is a worldwide training and standard setting body for the industry.

The Skills Organisation and LEEA have both confirmed that they agree with the expiry of the unit standards.

Waihanga Ara Rau WDC recommend that these unit standards be expired.
