NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has completed the rollover and revision of the unit standards listed above.  The standards in bold have been revised and rolled over, the others just rolled over.

Summary

These unit standards are due for mandatory five-year review in December 2022.  However, due to unforeseen events (e.g. Covid, focus on Review of Achievement Standards work), a full review of the standards has been extended to December 2023.  National Qualifications Services is satisfied that the request to rollover and revise these standards does not negatively impact consent holders and/or learners.

Main changes

· 15 standards were rolled over, and nine standards revised and rolled over to maintain their currency pending full review.

· Legislation was updated.

· Where a standard (outside this revision) that is listed as recommended knowledge but which expires at the end of 2022, it has been removed as it will not be available in 2023.

· The Last Date for Assessment for versions 1 and 2 of standard 25779 was extended to 31 December 2023.

· The planned review date has been extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023.
