Summary of review and consultation process

The qualifications were republished to transfer Qualification Developer status and associated responsibilities from the Funeral Services Training Trust of New Zealand to Toitū Waiora Community, Health, Education and Social Services Workforce Development Council, to reflect the intent of the Reform of Vocational Education (RoVE).

Toitū te Waiora Workforce Development Council represents sectors including care services, youth services, disability services, education and educational support services, funeral services, and mental health and addictions services.

The qualification review dates were extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024.

No other changes were made.

Main changes resulting from the review

For both qualifications:

•      The qualification scheduled review date was extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2024. 

•      Qualification Developer status was transferred from the Funeral Services Training Trust of New Zealand to Toitū Waiora Community, Health, Education and Social Services Workforce Development Council.

· The qualifications have been republished without re-versioning.
