Extension of the Expiry Date of Electricity Supply unit standards

Waihanga Ara Rau Construction and Infrastructure Workforce Development Council has revised the unit standards listed above to extend the expiry date.

Summary

In early July 2022, Connexis Business Division of Te Pukenga requested the extension of the expiry date for the Transmission Line Maintenance qualification version 2 [Ref: 2705], from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023.

It has come to notice that there are some unit standards in the programme for the Transmission Line Maintenance qualification that have also been designated expiring. Connexis Infrastructure Training has requested that these unit standards are also extended to align with the last date of expiry with the qualification.

Main changes

· The last date for assessment to be extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023 to provide learners the opportunity to complete the programme leading to the qualification they are enrolled in.

· The last date for assessment of superseded versions of the unit standards was also extended from 31 December 2022 to 31 December 2023.
